THE FIRST MEETING of 2010 will be held in lecture theatre S1, WEDNESDAY 3 MARCH at 7:30pm (after this meeting weekly meetings will be held in the Bentley's Wing of the UCSA)
The first tramp will be Freshers, an introductory two day tramp at Mt Somers, 6 to 7 March. We will have information about and being signing people up for Freshers at the first meeting. We are not organising any trips prior to Freshers, sorry (but will have lots on once the uni term kicks in so stay tuned!)
MEETINGS ARE WEDNESDAYS 7:30pm UPSTAIRS IN THE UCSA BUILDING ON CAMPUS
If you're interested in joining the club but couldn't make it along to clubs day, come along to any of our weekly meetings during term time (Wednesdays, 7:30pm, upstairs in the Student Association building on campus) and talk to any of the gang or Adam, our friendly membership officer.
Welcome to our website! Take a look around and see what you think. In particular, check out the Membership and Tramps pages to see what we're all about.
Hopefully you are getting an email from us every Tuesday letting you know what is coming up - if not please contact the technowizard.
If you haven't made it to a meeting yet - remember they are every Wednesday night at 7:30pm in the Bentleys Wing of the UCSA. We usually head downstairs for a beer afterwards if anyone's keen.
If you have friends who want to sign up, get them to come along to one of our meetings or talk to our membership officer.
Hey trampers!
Another term down, holy mackarel. The weather's slowly getting warmer (but wetter) and the days are growing gradually longer. Get out there over break and make the most of it before exams set in and doom us all to the confines of the library.
We'll have lots happening in term four that you won't want to miss, but more about that in the next newsletter (available at the first meeting of term).
Remember to TROG your adventures! We'll be giving away a brand new Therm-a-Rest ProLite at the start of term for the best story/article from term 3. We have started a few collaborative TROG articles on the forums, go add a sentence or photo now!
Don't forget to use the forums here on our website, and remember you can read nice colour PDFs of any of our past newsletters by clicking the link at the top.
Hills ahoy!
