Hey Guys,

I hope your first week back went well, by now your probably back in to the
swing of things, so you'll need another break! The perfect excuse to get
into the mountains this weekend!

The meeting this week examines the pros and cons of the planed wind farm at
Mt Cass. We have someone from the Mt Cass protection society providing
their concerns as well as an Industry/engineering prospective.

The UCSA ave moved us again, lookout for the signs pointing to our location!
(it's "the wing", wherever that is).

Snowcraft lost property will also be available, so bring in anything you may
have picked up by accident and check for anything you left behind.
*Trips for 26-27 July Refreshers weekend
*Lake Daniels <http://www.cutc.org.nz/tripview.php?tripid=2>
This is a good introductory overnight tramp to a hut situated by a large
lake and surrounded by attractive beech forests. Track starts at Marble
Hill. Thompson Flat, to the north of the lake, can be explored as a
side-trip.

Mt Oxford <http://www.cutc.org.nz/tripview.php?tripid=34>
This popular trip is more interesting and scenic with some snow on Mt Oxford
and the nearby ranges. There are several 1-2 day options which include an
ascent of Mt Oxford in this area.
