Sup, tramperoonies?

We're here! We're back! Welcome to another term of the CUTC!
Hopefully those of you lucky enough to enjoy three weeks holiday have had a
marvelous time cavorting around the countryside.

This term the CUTC is going to be crazy busy with events - like TWALK. Which
is *this* weekend! Seriously, how excited are we! See below for an important
message from Rowan regarding the event, and for everyone who's entered,
tomorrow's meeting is absolutely compulsory.

If you're not coming on TWALK (why? why?!) come along to hear intrepid tales
from our guest speaker, Ian Thorne (that's Brian's old man - these things
run in the family) who's just returned from 18 months on sub-antarctic
Macquarie Island with these penguins. He has decades of tramping,
mountaineering and conservation stories under his belt and will talk to us
about Macquarie Island and a trip into the Olivine Mountains.

TWALK 2009
 If you haven't received an email from me about TWALK, you are not entered.
If you think you should be entered, email me at twalk at cutc.org.nz ASAP to
sort it out!

 The final TWALK meeting will be at the CUTC meeting this Wednesday. The
meeting will cover vital event and safety information, so everyone should
attend!

 The meeting will also be the last chance to sign up if you haven't already.
