[CUTC] [CUTC weekly email] Let there be CAKE!

Hi gang,

Brrr...Here I am again making comments about the weather. But really. BRR.
Do all student flats disobey the laws of thermodynamics? I wish it was as
cosy here as it was in the hut on the weekend - that was hot, and not even
just the temperature (hurhur).

Yes, with rumours and scandal rife and raging, another bushball has been and
gone. There was big (chest) hair, anatomically defiant tight pants, ditches
for falling into and lessons to be learnt on who to trust with facepaint.
But despite everyones best efforts with beer foam, punch and french energy
drink, the Toilet Seat remains unawarded! Shocking! Perhaps there's still
hope, if anyone can puke from eating too much cake tomorrow night.

Speaking of baked goods: ladies and gentlemen - start your ovens! The annual
CUTC bakeoff is this Wednesday. Be there to witness the results of hours
spent slaving away in the kitchen to produce something sort of vaguely
resembling a mountain...or something. Turn up at the meeting with your
tramping themed cakey creations and battle it out for best looking and best
tasting. And then we'll devour them all!

And so will end term 3. Now's the time to start scheming with one another
and make your plans for the 2 week break. We don't have any official club
trips going away during the holidays, but we've got suggestions. If you've
got your own big ideas for holiday expeditions and you need more party
members, feel free to jump up at the meeting and get a group together that
way.

Also, the UCSA has taken the liberty of shifting our meeting space once
again, so we'll be in the Soup Kitchen (formerly known as Heat and Eat) area
this week, which is just down the corridor from Bentley's.

See you tomorrow!

p.s Don't forget to TROG! We still have an amazing Thermarest Pro-Lite to
give away for the best article of term 3 and we'll be awarding it at the
first meeting of next term so you've got time to write about your holiday
adventures. If you're currently in possession of a TROG diary, bring it to
the meeting this week so Kieran can photocopy the stories before the
holidays - we don't want to lose everyone's stories down a river or
something!
