Hi folks!

Welcome to the CUTC 2009! It's bound to be a corker of a year. We're kicking
it all off this Wednesday night at 7:30 (until roughly 9 - 9:30) with our
first meeting being held in S1 (that's in the science lecture theatre block
on campus). Make sure you come along to introduce yourself to the gang, get
a feel for how the club works and most importantly - sign up for freshers!

Freshers is our biggest trip of the year and it's happening this coming
weekend (7th-8th March). We'll be catching a party-bus to Arthur's Pass
where we'll take an easy tramp into the hills, pitch our tents and socialise
the night away. There will be river crossing instruction on Sunday afternoon
too. We'll give you all the details including where and when at the meeting,
so be there and bring $25 (to cover the cost of food and transport).

Wednesday night meetings are an integral part of the Tramping Club, it's
when we plan our weekends, catch up with each other and have some mid-week
fun. Don't worry if you don't have any friends in the club, because that's
what we're here for! Alternatively you can bring along any pals who are keen
on joining in and they can sign up on the night.
